Empowering Women Thru Motion

Would You Join Us in Spreading
Holiday Magic in Our Community?

As the holiday season approaches, we are reminded of the many blessings in our lives. But for some in our community, this season comes with struggles that no one should face alone. Over the years, the Angel Grant has been a source of hope for individuals and families in need, spreading kindness and support when it’s needed most. Last year, thanks to your generosity, we were able to extend that support to several families—a beautiful reminder of the impact we can make together.

This year, the need is greater than ever, and our hearts are drawn to the most vulnerable among us: single mothers and their newborn babies. Several courageous young mothers have reached out with a simple yet profound request—a car seat and stroller to safely bring their little ones home from the hospital.

As a brand new grandma of two, I understand just how very important it is to feel assured that you can bring your babies safely home.  I’ve had the joy of watching my children navigate parenthood—an experience that is both rewarding and profoundly challenging. Even with two parents working together, it takes an incredible amount of energy, patience, and coordination to meet a baby’s needs. From sleepless nights to endless diaper changes, every moment is filled with love but also requires an immense amount of work.

Now, imagine navigating all of this as a single mother. For these brave women, every task, every decision, and every responsibility falls entirely on their shoulders. There is no one to share the 2 a.m. feedings or run to the store when supplies run low. The weight of providing not just for themselves but for their precious baby can feel crushing at times.

That’s why the Angel Grant this year feels so deeply important. Imagine the relief these mothers will feel when they receive a stroller and car seat, knowing they can safely bring their newborns home from the hospital. Picture the peace of mind when they see a gift card that means they don’t have to worry about affording formula or diapers this week. These gifts aren’t just practical necessities—they’re a lifeline, a reminder that they’re not alone, and a beautiful act of kindness that says, “We see you. We care.” For these mothers, this generosity isn’t just a holiday surprise—it’s hope. Hope that their community is there to help lighten their load and give them the chance to breathe, even if only for a moment.

As someone who has witnessed firsthand how much work it takes to raise a child, I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude for those who choose to step in and support mothers like these. Your kindness has the power to make their holidays brighter, their burdens lighter, and their hearts a little fuller. This is the magic of giving, and together, we can make it happen.

With your help, we can answer their call and go even further. Through the Angel Grant, we hope to provide not only car seats and strollers for these mamas, but also gift cards for groceries, formula, and diapers—necessities that no mother or baby should go without.

By supporting Empowering Women through Motion, you can bring light and hope to those in our community who need it most. Together, we can spread holiday cheer, lift spirits, and show these families that they are surrounded by a community that cares deeply.

Let’s make this season one of love, warmth, and generosity. Your compassion can make all the difference. From our hearts to yours, may your holidays be filled with joy, love, and the gift of giving.
